The Wednesday night dance sessions held at the Victoria Hall on Main Street in Grange-over-Sands have become immensely popular in Cumbria. These weekly classes feature Ballroom and Latin dance routines that last from 4-6 week periods, incorporating amalgamations to improve your dancing skills and increase your confidence on the dance floor. The emphasis on technique means you’ll learn how to make deliberate and controlled movements, giving you a sense of self-assurance when dancing. Joining these weekly classes could be a fun and engaging way to learn a new skill, meet new people, and connect with others who share your passion for ballroom and Latin dance in Cumbria.
During the beginner’s classes in the south lakes, many people mix and change partners, allowing individuals without partners to receive help and encouragement from intermediate dancers. However, if you prefer to stay with the same partner, that is also acceptable.
